The soft and medium tyres are the most popular options for the British Grand Prix, only just over a week away.
As we have seen so far this season, the teams tend to side with taking the most number of the softer tyre, here the soft tyre and the least with the hardest. Although that pattern remains, especially in the midfield there are some large variations. Force India will take the most sets of the hard tyre, with them taking three sets of the hardest option – while Sauber are taking the most number of the soft tyres of any team.
Mercedes and Williams are taking exactly the same combination of tyres, while Red Bull and Ferrari also match their options, all four teams almost agreeing on their allocations. Only Haas will be taking different allocations for each driver, an extra set of the hard tyre for Romain Grosjean.
