Sauber are currently set to be the first team to unveil their 2017 car, the first of a week of launches next week.
Just two days before they are to have a private test session ‘filming day’ in Barcelona, Sauber will have an online launch of their new 2017 car. At the moment they will be the first to show off their new car, and the first for the new 2017 regulations, with wider track and bigger Pirelli tyres.
The participation of Pascal Wehrlein in the first test could be in doubt following his Race of Champions crash last month, recovering from a small neck injury. The new Sauber driver will be driving alongside Marcus Ericsson in his third season with the team.
The launch season looks set to kick off with Sauber on the 20th February, with Renault on the 21st, Force India on the 22nd, 23rd February for Mercedes, both Ferrari and McLaren on the 24th and Toro Rosso on the 26th. There are no plans announced for Williams, Red Bull or Haas at the moment.
