Red Bull retain Aston Martin partnership for 2017

Red Bull have announced the partnership with Aston Martin is to continue into 2017.

Aston Martin, in partnership with Red Bull’s Adrian Newey have designed what has been described as the ‘ultimate’ – the AM-RB 001, which is due out in 2019 with only a limited 150 production. A run of the new car is expected by the end of next year, with a further 25 track only specials, although all 175 have already been sold.

In step with the production of the new car, Aston Martin will appear as a sponsor of the Red Bull Racing team, as was seen in 2016.

“We first conceived our Innovation Partnership with Aston Martin in the realisation that it could be truly pioneering.” Red Bulls Christian Horner said.

“In blending our distinct but unique skills under a shared creative vision, we have already seen tangible development to both of our brands and businesses. The extraordinary success of the AM RB-001 is testament to the expert and collaborative spirit in which it was forged, and extending our relationship with Aston Martin through 2017 was a simple and pleasing decision.”
