Marcus Ericsson cleared to race, Pit Lane start

Marcus Ericsson has been cleared to race after a medical examination following his high speed crash at Stowe yesterday.

The Sauber driver lost the control at Stowe in FP3, hitting the inside wall hard which saw him taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. Although the Swede was unhurt it meant that he missed out on qualifying.

Having changed chassis to the spare, Ericsson will take his place in the field today, although starting from the pitlane.
