Final Manor bid failed?

The final attempt to see Manor on the grid is said to have failed, with the team now unlikely to start the season in Melbourne.

According to the Manor Racing Fan Blog, a final attempt by investors to buy the team has failed, with an announcement due shortly. Their sources suggested that a deal with investor CGF could have been done as late as last Thursday, but had stalled on Sunday.

Having been up for sale for a while, there have been many twists and turns in their story and a last minute rescue hasn’t been ruled out, however time is running out to be on the grid in Melbourne, now just six weeks away.
