Ferrari announce 2017 launch date and reserve driver

Ferrari are the first team to announce their plans for the early part of next season, including the announcement of their new reserve driver.

The team will unveil their new 2017 car on February 24th, just a few days before the first test in Barcelona, due to take place on February 27th.

Ferrari have also announced that 2016 GP2 runner up Antonio Giovanazzi will be their official test driver next season. The 23 year old Italian narrowly missed out on the GP2 crown against Prema teammate and Red Bull backed Pierre Gasly, and had been courted by Mercedes for a DTM drive in 2017.
