Jenson Button is to race with a revised helmet design this weekend in what is expected to be his final Grand Prix.
As part of the celebrations around his probable final Grand Prix, stepping down from race duties at McLaren for the 2017 season, Button is to reintroduce the helmet design he wore for the 2009 championship, where he won the title with Brawn GP.
On his Instagram feed, Button said, “I go into this Grand Prix with the mindset that it’s my last race in F1.
“So I thought I’d bring back some memories from my World Championship winning year with a little hint of Pink for Papa. I think it looks absolutely awesome, hope you guys do too.”
