Formula One will return to Barcelona for testing this winter after teams agreed a compromise in wanting to run in warmer weather.
Although already agreed earlier in the year, two pre-season tests will take place in late February and early March. It was first thought that both sessions would be at Barcelona before a number of teams floated the idea of heading to Bahrain, in search for warmer weather. There was even a suggestion that testing could be split, with some heading to the Middle East with others in Barcelona.
The push to get Barcelona agreed means there will be a two day in-season test in Bahrain, which will give more time for Pirelli to test their new tyre.
