10 second penalty and points for Rosberg

After a long wait of nearly three hours, the stewards announced a penalty for Nico Rosberg which had little impact on the outcome of the race.

Having driven into the side of Lewis Hamilton into turn 2 on the very last lap of the race, the German then went on to continue the rest of the lap with a damaged car, with parts flailing from the car when overtaken by both Verstappen and Raikkonen who went on to take podium positions.

The stewards gave Rosberg a 10 second penalty, which doesn’t effect the outcome of the race, and also 2 penalty points for the accident.
